This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 64529182798 (64 52 9 182 798) and is described as Mahle Air-Conditioner Compressor as used on some E85 Z4 roadster models with the earlier M54 engine, including the Z4 2.5i and 3.0i through the 2006 model year. 

This AC compressor can be used on all 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 model Z4 roadsters, as these were the ones with the M54 engine that used this air conditioning compressor in the HVAC system.
