If your E30 has this style manual gear shift emblem (circular) and is looking bad, or you want to upgrade from a plain shift pattern or other emblem, here's your chance to refresh your shift knob very easily! 

This shift emblem has a self-adhesive backing. Carefully pry your old one off (mind not to scratch or damage your existing knob) and stick one in its place. If you're buying a brand new shift knob without an emblem, it's even easier. Just make sure it's the original E30 style with this circle shaped shift emblem. If your car was upgraded to a later style (such as the more oval shaped emblems) this may not fit. So check carefully. 

The E30 3 series was offered from 1984 and broadly through 1991. The convertible models of 1992 and 1993 were also E30, as well as the 1988-1991 E30 M3, which commonly came with this exact emblem. The E30 was offered in many models including 318i, 318is, 325, 325e, 325es, 325i, 325is, 325ix, 325ic and M3. These spanned model  years 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991 (plus the 1992 and 1993 convertibles.)
