Parking Brake Switch (EMF), Aftermarket - E70 X5, E71 X6 (10/2007+)

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 61319148508 (61 31 9 148 508) and is described as the parking brake switch on the center console for 2008+ E70 X5, E71 X6. A broken BMW parking brake switch is a common occurrence due to age and the plastic grade. At least the switch is easily replaced with plastic trim tools and Torx sockets.

This switch was used on 2008-2013 X5 and X6 models built from the 10/2007 production date (located on the driver's door jam). Owners of 2008 model years X5/X6 will need to confirm this date prior to ordering. Vehicles built up to 9/2007 use a different switch (BMW part #61319156133).
