Red Start/Stop switch button for F22 2-series, F87 M2, F30 3-series, F80 M3, F32 4-series, and F82/F83 M4. This piece is very similar to the one used by BMW on the M3/M4 CS models.
This is a straight replacement for the plain black start button. Removing the trim or switch may not be required* and this new red button will snap into place. The red really stands out for this key button in your interior.
*there are various ways of removing the original button and we've had varying degrees of success. Using putty or double-sided tape will not require removing any trim but does not always work. Popping it out with a tiny screwdriver works but use something to protect the trim surrounding the button. If these fail to dislodge the original, removing the dash trim will be required. Make sure any small components of the button (pins, springs, plungers, tabs, etc.) are reinstalled with the button.
