Hood Release Handle / Lever, URO - E36, E32, Z3

This part is an aftermarket reproduction of BMW part number 51231928469 (51 23 1 928 469) which is the hood release handle, as used on E36 3 series (1992-1999), E32 7 series (1988-1994), and Z3 Roadster/Coupe models (1996-2002). 

Have you broken the plastic hood release cable on your E36 3 series, E32 7 series (1988-1994), or Z3 roadster/coupe (1996-2002)? If so, then you're likely left with no way to open the hood. The cable itself is still good and in tact, but the plastic hood release handle is what broke, this aftermarket replcement handle is a very cost effective way to fix the part, and save a few dollars from the Genuine BMW version of the handle. 

This aftermarket hood release handle is made by URO Parts, a lower cost alternative that can be used to fix your broken handle. The hood release mounts on the driver's side at the base of the dashboard. This style of hood latch handle was used on all body styles of the below listed models, including sedan, coupe, convertible, and compact hatchback (318ti) models. 

The 3 series models psance model year 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999. 
The 7 series models span model years 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, and 1994. 
The Z3 models span model years 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002.
