Power Steering Reservoir (CHF 11.S), Rein - E82, E9X, E84, E83

Our Power Steering Reservoir is the stock replacement for power steering units using CHF 11.S hydraulic fluid (not ATF fluid). This reservoir is for standard steering system, not the optional Active Steering system.

Why replace this reservoir? There is a filter inside that is not removable. To service the filter requires replacing the reservoir. Also the connections on the bottom of this fluid tank are highly prone to leaks. It's not uncommon for the power steering connections to be over-tightened and can cause leaks. If you are trying to solve power steering leaks then changing this power steering reservoir will be one of your priorities. If you've recently replaced your PS pump or rack that is even more reason to install a fresh reservoir with all new, clean, power steering fluid.

This item includes both the reservoir, filter, and cap but does not include the green CHF warning label. You can use your original cap or order a new label (see below). Given the silly price of a new sticker you might want to re-use your original cap.
