Original rubber muffler hangers don't last long so Powerflex developed this urethane mount in an aluminum housing. Since factory exhaust systems are usually pretty heavy, the rubber mounts wear easily. Worn hangers will cause the exhaust to shift around too much and may bang, clunk, or vibrate. This hanger is used to mount the muffler to the chassis. The red urethane and aluminum bracket are much stronger than the original and may be the last hanger you buy!

We recommend this only be used with stock, factory muffler and exhaust systems.
