Front Hydrobearing Bushing (FCAB), Rein - E82 128i/135i, E9X 325i/328i/330i/335d/335i

This is a single front tension strut (aka upper control arm, thrust arm) bushing for E82 128i, E9X 325i/328i/330i/335i, E84 X1, E89 Z4 models. While you could replace just one bushing we strongly recommend replacing them in pairs.

The tension strut is also known as the thrust arm and is the forward-most control arm on the E82/E90/E92 chassis. The bushing is filled with a vibration-absorbing fluid that does a great job of isolating bumps and rough roads, until the fluid leaks or evaporates. Worn E9X bushings will affect the ride, handling, and steering of the car and can also cause clunking noises and vibrations. To restore steering precision and taught handling, replace the tension strut bushing at the first sign of wear.
