The Mini 2 starts recording as soon as you start moving, and continually records, making it "set and forget". If an accident occurs, saved video will automatically upload to the secure online Vault. Because of it's compact "car key-size", subtle black finish, and unobtrusive design this dash cam blends in for a discreet install, without ruining your car's interior or advertising it's presence too much. Garmin's Clarity HDR Optics gives you clear and crisp video of important details, whether it's day or night.
You can use Live View monitoring to check on your car remotely using your smart phone, and it even responds to voice controls for easier, hands-free, commands. This little camera is super powerful, while still being super simple to use.

View and Share Video
If you're within an active WiFi connection, you can share video clips with others by simple sending a link (and passcode). Your saved videos are accessible in your secure online Vault using the Garmin Drive app and a compatible smart phone. Each video clip is saved online for 24 hours from the time of upload. Garmin also offers longer term storage plans to extend how long clips are saved and accessible, using a paid subscription (not included).

The Mini 2 is also compatible with Garmin's sophisticated Drive app, which allows multiple cameras to be installed and record up to four Garmin Dash cameras (each camera sold separately). When used with addition cameras and configuration, you can record multiple angles and viewpoints for even better coverage and protection.
Powered by USB, with an Extra Port e
To keep install super easy, this Dash Cam uses a simple USB power cable. The included charger has a thoughtful second USB port, so you don't have to "lose" a USB port or choose between charging other devices. You can power the dash camera and charge a cell phone or other device at the same time.
Memory Card Required, Not Included.
The Mini 2 requires an 8 GB or larger microSD card rated at Class 10 or faster, which is sold separately.
