This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 54347193450 (54-34-7-193-450) and is described as Genuine BMW Hinge for Convertible Top mechanism (Right side / passenger side) for the first generation Z4, also known as the E85 chassis, for the model years 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. 

This hinge is a common failure item on the '03-'08 Z4 Roadster's convertible top mechanism.  If you are servicing the convertible top's hydraulic mechanism, you may want to inspect this part for wear and/or failure. It's typical for this part to need to be replaced on the Z4 2.5 / 3.0 and Z4 M Roadster of that generation.
