When the tweeters on the E46 Harman Kardon (HK) sound system get blown, the entire stereo sounds terrible! It's easy to tell when a tweeter is blown as it will make all kinds of harsh scratch/screechy sounds and completely distract from your music and driving. 

But the fix is very simple! Replace that blown E46 mid-range / tweeter and get back that clean high-end sound. These are Genuine BMW Harman Kardon mid-range tweeters and will have your HK system back to pleasant music to your ears.
