Tow Hook License Plate Mount - F30/F31 3 Series 2016-2018 non-M

It should be a crime to drill holes in the middle of the front bumper cover on a BMW. But that's just what BMW does to mount the front license plate. It's unthinkable, especially on the a modern sedan like the 2016-2018 F30 3 series or 2016-2018 F31 3 series wagon. Most BMW owners agree that a BMW looks much better without an ugly font license plate. Unfortunately many states strictly enforce front plate laws, so completely deleting the front plate isn't an option for everyone.
 
For 2016-2018 3 Series Sedan/Wagon Models without M-Sport front bumper. This kit is made very specifically for the standard (non-M) front bumper used on the 2016, 2017, and 2018 models known as "faceflift" or "LCI" cars. This includes sedans in these years such as the 320i Sedan, 320i xDrive Sedan, 330i Sedan, 330i xDrive Sedan, 340i Sedan, 340i xDrive Sedan, 328d Sedan, 328d xDrive sedan, and 330e (hybrid) Sedan. It also includes the 2016-2018 328i xDrive Touring Wagon and 328d xDrive Touring Wagon. Not for cars before the 2016 model year, and not for cars with M Sport front bumper. 

This slick relocation kit allows you to use the factory tow hook eye as a mount point, so you can completely "delete" and remove the ugly stock center-mounted bracket. Now your BMW can look better, while still complying with local front plate laws. 

We found this kit to be an easy, cost-effective, and well made solution for mounting your front license plate in the tow hook receiver of the non-M 2016-2018 3-series Sedan (F30) and Sport Wagon (F31). No modifications are required, and if you are installing this on a fresh/new front bumper, you can avoid drilling the dreaded holes in your bumper. 

Easy Installation - Can be removed in Minutes!
Installation is quite simple, using simple Allen keys (included) and a 17mm wrench (not included). We love that you can also remove this in minutes. This means you could drive (legally) with a front plate to a car show, remove the plate at the show, and reinstall your tow hook plate bracket for a legal drive home. And still no holes needed in your bumper! 

Adjustable for Many Angles & Positions
The bracket offers multiple adjustable mounting positions, which gives you some aesthetic options if you are picky on how the plate is positioned. You can also move your plate further away from headlights or fog lights, or adjust the angle to more close mimic the body contour of your front bumper. 

Works With or Without Front Park Distance Control
As long as your 3 Series sedan/wagon has the base (non-M) front bumper - and is a 2016-2018 model - this relocation kit will work with the factory Park Distance Control (PDC) system. If you don't have PDC, you have a little more adjustment room, while if you have PDC, this bracket gives you enough adjustment to place the plate a safe distance between the front PDC sensors, so it does not set of the proximity sensors or interfere with the PDC system.
