E82 Coupe Fiberglass Sunroof Fill Panel

Replace the heavy stock sunroof assembly and glass panel on your 2008-2013 E82 1 Series coupe with this lightweight fiberglass blank. This lightweight sunroof delete panel replaces your stock glass sunroof for use on the track, drag strip, or other various forms of BMW racing. You're not just reducing the weight of your E82, but you're removing weight where it counts most (the top) which lowers the center of gravity of your E82 BMW. This gives you better handling, power to weight and handling. 

Be sure to confirm the rules and legality with your race series or class - metal panels are sometimes required. This fiberglass E82 sunroof delete panel can be painted to match and comes in gray primer, ready to paint. Panel weights approximately 3 lbs, and paint and clear coat will generally add between 0.5 and 0.6 lbs. To install this panel, the factory sunroof gasket must be removed. We recommend using RTV / silicone type sealant when installing this panel.
