Plastic Cover for Engine Wiring Harness - E30 318is & E30 M3 (1988+)

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 51711380391 (51 71 1 380 391) and is described as Genuine BMW Plastic Covering for the Engine Wiring Harness, as used on all 16 valve 4 cylinder model E30, which includes all E30 M3 (S14), and all 1989+ E30 318i, 318is and 318ic (with M42 engine). 

This plastic cover installs along the firewall of the later 4 cylinder model E30s and keeps the ugly wiring harness out of sight. This cover is a MUST if you are trying to keep your E30 M3 or 318is engine bay looking clean and fresh. If your wiring harness cover is broken, cracked, faded, or missing we highly suggest buying this brand new Genuine BMW wiring harness cover to get your engine bay looking super clean once again. 

This plastic cover is NOT for E30 models before 1988, and NOT for 6 cylinder models. Only for E30 with the 16 valve 4 cylinder engines, including M42 and S14, as offered in the 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 model years (as well as 1992 318ic convertibles which were offered later than the coupes and sedans.)
