This mirror is for cars WITH the "auto dip" feature (Option code S430A=Yes), WITHOUT lane-change warning system (Option code S5AGA=No), and WITHOUT Surround View Camera System (Option code S5DLA=No). 

Not for X3 built before 4/2014 production date. 
Not for X3 with lane departure warning system. 
Not for X3 with Surround View Parking Assist Cameras

This left hand side / driver side X3 mirror comes without the mirror glass, and without the front plastic trim piece, which is typically painted to match the car. If your existing body-colored front trim and mirror glass are good, you can transfer them to this mirror assembly. The assembly includes the internal motors and wiring harness, assembled and ready to bolt on to the car.
