Genuine BMW Rear Sunroof Seal - 2002/2002tii, E9, E12 5 Series & More

This is the Genuine BMW rear gasket seal for the factory sunroof BMW used on several classic BMW models in the late 60s, 70s. This includes the classic “02” models, like the 1600, 1602, 2002, 2002tii, etc, as well as the Bavaria, 2500, and E12 5 Series through 1976. These sunroofs used a two-piece gasket with a front gasket, and a shorter length rear gasket. This sunroof gasket is the shorter of the two, which seals the backside edge of the sunroof panel.

For factory sunroof only. Sunroofs were an option on these cars (in some cases somewhat rare), so if your vintage BMW has an aftermarket sunroof that was added later, this seal will not apply.
