This caliper rebuild kit replaces the pistons and seals in both front Carbon Ceramic brake calipers, as used on the F80 M3 and F82/F83 M4 models with CCB options. These cars have the gold colored caliper, and ultra-light carbon ceramic brake discs.
This kit contains 12 aluminum pistons (4x 36mm, 4x 34mm, 4x 30mm) pistons, and a full set of high-temp silicone piston seals to get your front calipers properly rebuilt/upgraded. This is enough to rebuild and upgrade BOTH front calipers.
When exposed to extreme temperatures from spirited or track driving, the factory caliper pistons can fail. This upgrade kit is a perfect alternative to replacing the original pistons with the same failure-prone stock parts.
