Rear ABS/DSC Sensor, OEM - F22 F3X with ACC & F8X M2 M3 M4

This is the rear ABS/DSC sensor used on RWD F22/F23 228i/230i/M235i/M240i, F30/F31/F34 320i/328i/330i/335i/340i, F32/F33/F36 428i/430i/435i/440i models with optional Active Cruise Control (option code S5DFA). This part is also used on all F8X M2/M3/M4 models (ACC was not an option on these models).

F22/F23 2-Series - Only for cars with Active Cruise Control.

F30/F31/F34 3-Series - Only for cars with Active Cruise Control.

The ABS and DSC control unit relies on information from the sensors to set braking and traction control settings. A sensor going bad or failed will set the system into a dangerous failsafe setting and possibly a limp mode.
