BMW used the same brake pads for hybrid models as the regular gasoline engine models. And the same complaints apply: tons of harmful brake dust and squeaky brake noises. OEM supplier TRW has developed these Electric Blue brake pads that fight those two main complaints of BMW brake pads. These pads are more environmentally friendly, using a new friction material that expels less harmful metals like copper into the air and surrounding environment. This new pad is also quieter with none of the screeching, squealing sounds, and vibration so common in sporty BMW brake systems. This is one of the very first brake pad formulas specifically designed for hybrid cars. No longer are you stuck with the original pads from the dealer as the only choice.

This is a set of brake pads manufactured by TRW - an original supplier to BMW for many automotive components.
