Fan electric output is dictated by original equipment and only a fan that matches the original spec should be used. BMW used 600W and 850W fans. A higher wattage fan typically has additional upgrades to handle the higher output; a higher wattage fan cannot simply be retrofitted without considering the electrical load on the system.
