Clutch Masters has developed this clutch for tuned G8X M3/M4 cars that need higher clamping force and holding capacity and where the factory clutch is just too user-friendly or can no longer hold the torque from a modified S58 engine. The sprung hub design allows for moderate dampening in high-torque applications. This disc is designed for outstanding holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation. The ceramic paddle design creates a quick and rapid engagement and maintains minimal chatter due to the marcel cushion between the disc linings. Clutch Masters ceramic discs have tremendous holding power but are not designed to retain or improve drivability, noise, or smooth engagement for street use.

Ceramic based clutches are intended to be more durable with higher holding capacity than an OEM organic clutch but that does not mean a longer life. Improper installation, driving habits and style, performance upgrades, and break-in procedure will effect and have a role in determining the life expectancy of the clutch kit.
