This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 61319122700 (61 31 9 122 700) and is described as the Clutch Pedal Switch on E39 M5, E46 M3, and E85/E86 Z4 M. The switch must work to allow the car to start or to disengage from cruise control.

Replaces BMW part #61316912566.

**Important Info**: BMW also lists a different number - 35426876898. This number appears in BMW parts diagrams but was never originally for the E46 M3, E39 M5, or Z4M. It will allow the engine to start but will not cancel the cruise control. Because of this liability we have stopped offering the 898 number for these models (BMW may still offer it to you).
