The VAC E90/E92 M3 Differential Cover is a smart move for any hard-driven M3. During even short track sessions, the limited-slip clutches and gears in your differential heat up the fluid to a critical level - this is the reason for the fluid often seen seeping out of the vent hole after hard use. The VAC M3 diff cover holds an additional 1.5 quarts of fluid and retains cooling fins to keep your differential cool and avoid costly failure. This is especially important in order to maintain proper operating temperatures if you’ve invested in one of our custom limited-slip differentials. A port is provided for easy installation of a temperature probe for your aftermarket gauges or data.
