The bushing is filled with a vibration-absorbing fluid that does a great job of isolating bumps and rough roads, until the fluid leaks or evaporates. Worn bushings will affect the ride, handling, and steering of the car and can also cause clunking noises and vibrations. To restore factory steering precision and taught handling, replace the bushing or complete control arm at the first sign of wear.
