This is the 27mm rear axle-shaft found on early E36 M3 models (later cars had a 38mm shaft). There is no exact date for the changeover but it was around late-1996/early 1997.
Please note: ONLY for cars with a 27mm shaft diameter. Note that mixing axles is not advised so it's best to check the one currently on your car prior to ordering. This is a Genuine BMW rebuild half-shaft with inner and outer CV joint boots and a two year warranty. Left and Right sides are the same.

The core must match the part that was supplied in terms of fitment, type, application, accessories, and hardware. Damaged or modified cores will not receive a refund.
