Stiffer urethane bushing reduces slop and play in the shift linkage. Too much softness in the bushing can make shifting more difficult and possibly lead to mis-shifts (aka missed shifts or the dreaded money shift). This is a direct replacement for the original rubber and will improve your shift feel with every motion.
Replaces BMW part number 25118614288 (25 11 8 614 288).
Only for cars with manual transmission produced after 11/2014 production date.
