5-speed Transmission Brace, AAF - E46 323i/325i/328i/330i

The AAF transmission brace replaces the thin cast aluminum brace with a thicker and reinforced aluminum brace. As a true race-developed part this brace design has been properly reinforced for the typical loads and forces from solid motor and transmission mounts. The factory cast piece is known to crack or deform from serious track use. The more rigid brace reduces the changes of mis-shifts too.

With the factory brace on backorder from BMW this will save you from hunting online or junk yards for a flawed factory piece. This is Made in the USA and a proper upgrade aimed at track use.

Fits with the ZF 5-speed found in E46 models, including for use in E46 M3 5-speed conversions.

Solid or urethane transmission mounts are very strongly advised with this brace.
