A failed transmission mount can lead to serious problems, including missed shifts (on manual transmission cars), too much drivetrain movement, premature failure of engine and differential mounts, stress on driveshaft u-joints and flex discs, unwanted vibration, and more. Fortunately change the engine mount is a fairly simple task, especially on this mount which uses a very simple design.
This mount is specific to the later M30 “big six” powered BMWs (E32 735i/735iL and E34 535i) as well as the M70 V12 found in the 750iL and 850Ci.
Sold individually. There are two of these per car, so be sure to order two if you are replacing both (suggested).
