The front wheel bearings on your E30 325ix are something most people tend not to even think about until there's a problem with them. Wheel bearings generally work great... until they don't! If you're experiencing a groaning from one or both of the front wheels on your E30 325ix, especially when turning, the front wheel bearings are likely the culprit.
The easiest way to verify if it's your 325ix wheel bearing is bad is to jack the front of the car, put a hand on top and on the bottom of the wheel in question, and try to see if the wheel has any play. If it does, it's best to change the wheel bearing immediately before it becomes dangerous, and not just an annoying sound.
This is one wheel bearing, sold individually. We recommend replacing the wheel bearings in pairs, so be sure to order two if you are doing both sides of the vehicle.
