ARP Rod Bolt Kit - S52/S50/M50

The ARP Rod Bolt Kit is part of the ARP Pro Series of premium-quality products, these being made for S50US and S52 engines (and some M50*). This bolt replaces BMW part #11241739729 and measures 44mm. *Some M50 engines came with this shorter 44mm bolt but most likely use the longer 53mm bolt (ARP #201-6301). 

These connecting rod bolts are precision CNC-machined to ARP's exacting specifications and designed for optimum reliability on S50 and S52 builds.  

ARP rod bolts are thread rolled after heat treating, which gives them ten times better fatigue strength than those studs that are threaded prior to heat treatment (a very common industry practice). It costs more to do it this way, because it's tough on tooling, but the results are well worth the extra effort. 

ARP Pro Series rod bolts are far superior to standard OEM fasteners in terms of durability, and they're fully capable of handling the extra stress of high-combustion engines.
