This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11218595888 (11 21 8 595 888) and is described as a lower main bearing shell for the early B58A engine used in F22 M240i, F30 340i, F32 440i, G30 540i, G12 740i, G01 X3 M40i, and G02 X4 M40i. This is an lower shell, with a blue color code and is the standard 55.00mm size.

Important Bearing ID Note: BMW has a different way of identifying main and rod bearings. Locate a letter code on the passenger side of the engine block and combine that with a letter on the front of the crankshaft. There are 9 different combinations using 3 colors. It would not be unusual to have a mix of codes and colors. Note that bearing position 4 is the thrust bearing shells and are different part number than the rest.
