Lower Main Bearing Shell, Yellow, BMW - G30, G15, G05, G06, G07 (N63T3)

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11218606300 (11 21 8 606 300) and is described as a lower main bearing shell for the N63T3 engine used in 4/2019+ G30 M550i, G15 M850i, G05 X5 M50i, G06 X6 M50i, and G07 X7 M50i. This is an lower shell, with a yellow color code (block ID A-H), and is the standard 65.00mm size.

Important Bearing ID Note: BMW has a different way of identifying N63 main and rod bearings. Locate a letter code on the passenger side of the engine block and combine that with a letter on the front of the crankshaft. There are 9 different combinations using 3 colors. It would not be unusual to have a mix of codes and colors. Note that bearing position 3 is the thrust bearing shells and are different part number than the rest. The oil clearance is 0.020-0.046mm (0.0007-0.0018") for each crank journal (but BMW does not tell you which color is the thinnest-thickest). Start with the bearing codes from your engine and contact us if any of your journals have a too-large gap.
