This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11428583897 (11 42 8 583 897) and is described as the set of gaskets between the heat exchanger and the oil filter housing on all B58 engines (B58A, B58C, B58D, B58TU). These gaskets seal the oil cooler (heat exchanger) to the oil filter housing. If you're doing any work around the oil filter or oil cooler, these gaskets will be essential. Because a lot of components here are plastic there could be more than one cause for a B58 oil leak.
This is an OEM B58 oil housing gasket set manufactured by an original supplier to BMW for this part, as well as many other gaskets and seals.
