Crank Hub Grip Washer, BMW - F22, F3X, E89, N20 with Manual Trans

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11237600595 (11 23 7 600 595) and is described as an anti-slip grip washer sandwiched between the crank hub and oil pump sprocket on F22 228i, F30 328i, F32 428i, and E89 Z4 28i with a manual transmission. This washer is supposed to prevent the crank hub from spinning independently from the rest of the engine, putting the crank out of sync with the cams and valves.

Important Note: the front crank hub had two versions, with laser anti-slip etching or with this separate anti-slip grip disc (washer). The grip disc must only be used with a non-etched crank hub. Do not mix a grip disc with a laser-etched hub!

This is a Genuine BMW grip disc with a two year warranty.
