M62 VANOS Rebuild Seal Kit, Race German - M62TU Engine (1999+)

BMW M62TU engines on 1999-2003 E39 540i, E38 740i, and E53 X5 4.4/4.6is models have a variable camshaft timing system (VANOS), which is operated by pressurized oil. When the system's internal oil seals wear out, the VANOS system can cause power loss, rattling sounds and check engine codes.

This VANOS rebuild kit uses upgraded Viton o-rings and Teflon seal rings, which are far more durable than the standard Buna material used in the BMW original equipment.
