Schrick Valve Spring/Retainer/Keeper Kit - 2002, E21 320i, E30 318i (M10)

New set of double valve springs and retainers to go with aggressive Schrick cams on M10 engines used in 2002, E21 320i, and E30 318i models.

Set includes:
8 x 000202080, outer valve spring
8 x 000202043, inner valve spring
8 x 000213059, upper retainer
16 x 0894138M8, valve stem keeper

The Schrick M10 springs are a dual-spring design, using an inner and outer spring. The main reason for new springs is to use a stiffer spring and prevent valve-piston contact with the extra lift from these cams. The dual design has the additional benefit of controlling spring behavior and frequency, especially at high RPM, as well as providing a fallback in the unlikely occurrence of a broken spring (prevents the valve from dropping or floating). Top retainers are made from Titanium.
