Timing Chain Guide Hardware Kit - E30 318i, E36 318i, Z3 1.9 (M42, M44)

This is a kit of Genuine BMW hardware to work with the later timing chain tensioner guide rail on M42 and M44 engines. This kit includes a bolt, washer, and spacer bushing to fit in the bottom of the chain guide rail. The bolt and bushing are the pivot point at the bottom of the rail. Note that additional parts are required to use the M44 guide rail on an earlier M42 but we have never done the swap in our own shop so additional research is required.

1 x 11311247452, bushing
1 x 07119904533, M8x50mm bolt
1 x 07119907030, M8 washer

If you have a 1996-1999 318i or Z3 1.9 these are the same as the standard guide rail hardware and may not need replacement.
If you have a 1989-1995 318i and are switching to the later M44 guide rail this hardware will replace the original pivot bolt.

These are all Genuine BMW guide rail hardware with a two year warranty. Buying a Genuine part will usually be more expensive than an OEM or aftermarket brand but you are assured that it meets BMW's designs for fitment, performance, and longevity. It will also be the very latest design, incorporating any updates or revisions that an aftermarket brand typically will ignore.
