VANOS Rattle Bearing Set, Beisan - E46 M3, MZ3, Z4M, S54

These bearings are inside the Vanos unit and only accessible when installing the Beisan S54 Anti-Rattle kit. These bearings are bathed in oil but may still have wear from loose bearing washers or debris. Wear will be more likely if oil changes have not been done or bad oil is used. This is a S54 “while you're in there” part that is easy to replace if you're already planning the S54 rattle kit install.

Bearing faces are functionally same thus thrust bearing can be inserted in either orientation.

Like the rattle kit but requires complete disassembly of the Vanos unit and then each Vanos piston. Special tools are required that are sold separately.
