BMW recommends replacement of the engine oil drain plug at each engine oil change. This plastic drain plug includes the o-ring seal, and fits F22/F23 228i (2014, 2015, 2016), F30/F31/F34 320i, 328i (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016), F32/F33/F36 428i (2014, 2015, 2016), F10 528i (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016), E84 X1 28i sDrive (2013, 2014, 2015), F25 X3 28i sDrive (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016), and E89 Z4 28i (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016).
Only for cars with rear-wheel drive.
