Oil Filter Cap with Drain Screw, BMW - N63T3, N63M, N74L, S63T4, S68T

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11425A34A34 (11 42 5 A34 A34) and is described as the oil filter cap that includes the drain plug for V8 twin-turbo engines - N63B, N63M, N74L, S63T4, S68T. This is the complete cap that includes a new oil drain screw and sealing rings. The drain plug and sealing rings on the cap are not available separately* (lube the drain seal with engine oil when reinstalling).

There were two versions of the cap available - without (early) or with (late) the drain plug. Because of the upside-down orientation of the filter it seems cleaner and easier to drain the oil out of the filter before removing the cap.
