These clever polyurethane inserts install inside the factory rubber N54, N55, and B58 engine mounts found in E82 135i/1M, F22 M235i/M240i, E9X 335i, F30 335i/340i, F32 435i/440i, and E89 Z4. By filling the voids in the stock rubber these will stiffen the mount and result in less deflection, especially under hard driving. By reducing bushing deflection, you will increase bushing rigidity and longevity. Two grades are available - Yellow for full-time street use or Black for track/highly tuned street cars. If your stock motor mounts are still in good (or new) shape, these Powerflex Bushing Inserts are an ingenious way to protect and improve them!
Black series inserts will increase NVH - noise, vibration, and harshness - and are only recommended for cars with other modifications that put performance before comfort. Yellow/Street inserts may have slightly more NVH at idle.
This kit includes 1 urethane reinforcement per mount. These inserts are specifically designed to work with BMW or OEM engine mounts - part numbers 22116787659, 22116855460, 22116760330, 22116773744. One Powerflex kit will cover both mounts.
