Head Bolt Set, Victor Reinz - E46 M3, MZ3 S54, Z4 M

Set includes 14 Torx head bolts for S54 engine used in E46 M3, 2001-2002 MZ3 S54, and Z4M.

New head bolts are required any time the head bolts have been loosened or removed for any reason. They stretch when properly tightened so re-using them again will not tighten the head and gasket all the way. These are stock replacement head bolts, for cars with stock compression. For forced induction, or any car that has the head removed on a regular basis, we strongly recommend an ARP Head Stud Kit. ARP head studs are re-usable and stronger. But for a street car or daily driven E46 M3, MZ3, and Z4M these stock replacement bolts are the recommendation.

Set includes 14 Torx head bolts. Hardened steel washers are sold separately.

This part is manufactured by an aftermarket supplier of European auto parts, including many engine components. While not carrying OEM status, this part follows the design of the original very closely and uses similar materials. An aftermarket part may even have the same TUV approval as its OEM counterpart. The brand may even be OEM to another manufacturer besides BMW. This aftermarket brand has a two year warranty - the same as Genuine BMW and OEM brands.
