This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11427611391 (11 42 7 611 391) and is described as the profile gasket between the oil filter housing and the engine block on N20 engines. This gasket only applies to engines in cars made before 11/2011. Cars made after 11/11 use BMW part #11428637821. Important Note! If your car has a black plastic oil filter housing it may be eligible for a replacement/upgrade to aluminum through BMW. BMW had a service campaign to replace the plastic housing with aluminum. Contact your BMW dealer's service department for more info.
