Engine Rear Main Seal - Genuine BMW - E9X M3, E60 M5, E63 M6

This is BMW part #11217838071 (11 21 7 838 071), described by BMW as the rear shaft seal for the S65 V8 and S85 V10 engines. It's rare that you only need this one seal, unless you're doing a clutch job. By the time you get to this point there are a lot of other gaskets and seals that should be replaced.
