This is the o-ring to seal the brake booster vacuum pump to the valve cover on 2012-2015 N20 and N26 turbo 4-cylinder BMW engines. If you're removing the valve cover for any reason it would be a good idea to replace this seal (unless the vacuum pump stays on the cover).
