Eisenmann has engineered the E46 325i/330i exhaust to use this center section as an option. While we think most of our customers will want the Full Sound straight pipe center section, there are some that will want the exhaust volume turned down slightly (or their preference changes over time). This center section with the resonator is for the small group of our customers that want to fine-tune their exhaust level. It's a free-flow design, similar to the stock factory resonator but lighter.
As with their mufflers, the Eisenmann center pipes are made from T304/T306 stainless steel. This is the complete center section - from the headers to the rear muffler - and uses all of the factory hangers, gaskets, and hardware. The bolt/slip-on design makes this an easy upgrade to the Eisenmann muffler at any time so you can try out the muffler first and if you desire more sound the center section can be added later.
This exhaust section is built to order and ships from Eisenmann's factory in Germany. Because of the COVID impact, delivery times have been as long as 10-12 weeks after ordering but could be shorter. For the latest ETA info please contact our sales team.

Some states or jurisdictions have strict sound regulations that prohibit any changes to the factory exhaust. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to ensure his/her vehicle complies with all federal, state, county, or local regulations. Installation of this exhaust will not increase emissions nor cause a check-engine light or fault codes on a properly maintained vehicle. It was developed to work with all factory emissions controls and equipment.
