The M Performance titanium exhaust is a $9,000 dollar dealer add-on when buying a new G87 M2. To install it you need more than just the exhaust, as you also need the the bespoke Carbon Diffuser and the four specific tail pipe finishers / exhaust tips.
This exhaust is known for three things:
1. Sound. Want to make your G87 M2 snarl and sound even sportier? This is BMW's prescribed solution for the sportiest factory sound available. While we have aftermarket solutions to go even louder, this is the loudest factory system.
2. Lightness. Made of Titanium, this replaces the factory steel system, shaving precious weight out of the rear of the car. Less weight means better power-to-weight which means better acceleration. The weight savings is estimated at ~16 lbs, with the Titanium exhaust and hardware weighing in at under 30.5 lbs, versus 46.5lbs stock.
3. Visual impression. The full MPP exhaust makes a massive visual statement, with its unique tail pipe configuration and exotic inspired placement. It's a huge level up on the rear look of the G80/G82/G83 platform, and is sure to attract some attention versus the stock diffuser and exhaust configuration.
