This copper M10 hex collar nut is used throughout the exhaust system on many BMWs. It's an M10 size with 13mm hex and an integrated collar that eliminates the need for a washer. The elliptical shape makes it self-locking and reusable. Copper nuts are the correct type to use on hot surfaces because they will expand easily and contract back to their original size.
