Pentosin HP 5W30 Synthetic Engine Oil (5 Liter)

Pentosin 5W30 meets BMW LL-01 standards and is SL/CF and ACEA A3/B3/B4 rated. These are characteristics published by the oil manufacturers and Pentosin products share or exceed the minimum standards set by BMW. 5W30 is the most commonly used viscosity for BMW engines and is the factory weight recommendation for nearly all non-M engines from 1992-today.

The API SL rating will contain more ZDDP material than the more recent SM/SN specs. This is good news for owners of high mileage engines where extra zinc will help reduce wear and tear. It's also a great oil for stock or modified turbocharged engines. However, SL oils should be avoided in cars with modern ceramic catalytic converters unless you use a shorter oil change interval and regularly get the oil hot to burn off carbon and ash (SAPS). Our recommended oil change interval is 5,000-6,000 miles with regular used oil analysis.
