The Shark Injector performance software is loaded into your car's computer through the OBD port with the press of a button. The Shark reads your stock software and installs its own performance software for you. There's no easier way to do it! Removing the computer is not necessary! Shark Injector performance software is some of the safest and well-engineered tuning on the market. Developed by legendary Bosch tuning expert Jim Conforti, the Shark software modifies multiple engine maps to make more power on premium gasoline. With high quality fuel the engine can accept a more aggressive timing map, which makes more power. Conforti modifies the maps for fuel, timing, VANOS, throttle response, rev limit, top speed limit, and others. The result is more power and a smoother engine while still retaining all of the factory safeguards. There are other tuners on the market that might make more power on the dyno at full throttle but are not as refined or don't have the smoothness or torque of the Shark Injector. And they don't have the Shark's ease of install.

Sport Mode Memory - a convenience feature that will remember if you left the car in Sport Mode or not. Very convenient if you always use Sport Mode.
DSC Controls Sport Mode - Sport Mode is only accessed by turning DSC off (disables the Sport Mode switch)

A high quality battery charger is required during the install to provide sufficient electrical power for the ECU. The ECU is very sensitive to voltage and will shut down if volts drop below a minimum threshold. The battery charger keeps the voltage where it needs to be for programming. Trickle chargers and battery maintainers will not provide enough voltage unless they can be manually programmed at 10amps or higher.Notice of Emissions Non-Compliance.
This software was developed and tuned on vehicles that retained all emissions controls. It is intended for vehicles with stock and fully functional emissions equipment. However, it has not been submitted nor tested for approval in California. Therefore, it is not legal for use in California on any pollution-controlled motor vehicle.
